Laura Mock
Director

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the Cultivator team. With my business background and leadership experience, I’m eager to step into this strategic role.  What excites me most is the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our province alongside such a passionate and high-performing team. It truly feels like hitting the jackpot – being able to combine my skills with such an incredible opportunity. I’m energized by the prospect of contributing to Cultivator’s mission and playing a part in growing our tech community.”

Bre Walkeden
Community and Partner Manager

“I started my journey with Cultivator in July 2021, and couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the team. Having previously worked for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, I know a thing or two about Saskatchewan pride and am blown away by the support for Saskatchewan tech startups here at Cultivator. At Cultivator, I work with partners to grow the SK tech ecosystem and create strategic relationships to grow community engagement. Outside of work, you can catch me walking my dog, Joey, around Wascana Park or tackling DIY projects at my house.”

Brianna Blazeiko
Community Coordinator

“I eagerly joined Cultivator in February 2024 after years of supporting their events, feeling like a natural extension of the team. Fuelled by creativity and guided by a keen eye for detail, I bring a diverse background in marketing, event planning, coordination and entrepreneurship. When I’m not at the office or at an event, I enjoy the fresh air and walks with my dog Lex, exploring new destinations, and relaxing at the lake. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Cultivator team, where each day presents an opportunity to collaborate with incredible colleagues, work alongside visionary founders and create exceptional experiences for them and our community.”

Calder Dollard
Program Coordinator

“Upon graduating from the University of Regina Business Program in 2020, I worked in logistics, overseeing and coordinating the transportation of commodities across the prairies and into the U.S., where I further developed my business and agricultural knowledge. As someone who has lived in Regina my entire life, and as someone who considers themselves a techno-optimist, I am thrilled to be able to contribute to the developing startup ecosystem in my backyard. I love fostering relationships and helping contribute to the growth of dynamic ventures. In my spare time, you can find me at the lake, relaxing with friends or playing golf.”

Kyle Lugt
Program Coordinator

“After completing my business degree at the University of Regina in 2021, I joined Cultivator. Within Cultivator, I’ve been involved in various tasks, including space management, marketing, and organizing special events and projects. When I’m not at the Cultivator HQ, you might find me relaxing by the lake or playfully attempting to convince people that I’m an athlete. The tech scene in Saskatchewan is expanding, and I’m excited to be a part of its growth!”

Matt Brennan
Program Coordinator

“I’ve jumped into the tech space from a background in business consulting. I have worked with organizations across Saskatchewan to develop and set strategic direction, facilitate leadership development and team training workshops. I am passionate about seeing businesses thrive in Saskatchewan. I am excited to journey alongside startups in the ecosystem and see companies START, GROW, and SCALE. When I’m not at work you can find me traveling, camping, or playing board games with friends.”

Rebecca Franklin
Program Coordinator

“My excitement stems from a profound passion for technology and innovation. It all started on my family farm in Radville, SK, where I witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of agricultural innovation on efficiency and productivity. After spending five years in the SK Ag sector, I ventured into the tech sector in Halifax, NS, where I immersed myself in the world of startups, venture capital, and the critical factors investors seek in companies. Now, at Cultivator, I’m eagerly embracing the opportunity to lend my support to Scale and Agtech founders as they build companies that contribute to a brighter and more promising future!”
