Saskatchewan is full of many talented entrepreneurs, business leaders, developers and technical experts, designers, and marketing gurus. Still, there are very few events that allow these groups to come together and build something… We are changing that and bringing together the community for a 24 Hour Startup.
The what
24 Hour Startup brings together the best and brightest entrepreneurs, developers, lead designers, and makers from across Saskatchewan, Canada, and North America, to pitch ideas, form teams, and build a minimum viable product (MVP) in 24 hours. Once the 24 hour clock runs out, teams will pitch their MVP to a panel of judges for a chance to win prizes!
The who
This event is designed to connect the startup dream team of entrepreneurs, business professionals, developers and tech gurus, and design and marketing all-stars.
As a participant, you’ll experience the rollercoaster of highs and lows that are part of everyday startup life, all in just 24 hours. As you work to build an innovative startup company, you’ll meet some of the world’s top mentors, entrepreneurs, and supporters who are ready to help you launch.
The why
Less talk about entrepreneurship and more about doing. Take action and test the waters by jumping into a hands-on startup experience. Connect with other motivated individuals from a variety of backgrounds, access expert mentors, and have the opportunity to win prizes while expanding your network.
