From Idea to Momentum: Cultivator Celebrates the Completion of START Cohort 15 and BUILD Cohort 3

Cultivator powered by Conexus is proud to celebrate the successful completion of START Cohort 15 and BUILD Cohort 3, marking another milestone in supporting Saskatchewan entrepreneurs as they transform innovative ideas into scalable businesses.
Over the course of seven weeks, founders participated in programming designed to strengthen every stage of the entrepreneurial journey. From validating business ideas and identifying ideal customers to refining go-to-market strategies and preparing for growth, participants gained practical tools, expert mentorship, and valuable connections to help move their ventures forward. START Cohort 15 welcomed ten early-stage companies representing a wide range of industries, including healthcare, agriculture, financial technology, transportation, media, and education. Throughout the program, founders focused on validating their problems, refining their value propositions, and engaging directly with potential customers to ensure they were building solutions that address real market needs.
A significant milestone from this cohort was the progression of three ventures, Next to Kin, Partnerizer, and Cosmex Enterprises (AEAX) — into BUILD Cohort 3. Their advancement reflects the progress made during START and demonstrates the value of validating ideas before accelerating business growth.
BUILD Cohort 3 brought together thirteen ambitious startups focused on turning validated concepts into sustainable, scalable businesses. Through workshops covering founder finance, minimum viable products (MVPs), go-to-market strategy, data rooms, key performance indicators (KPIs), and technology best practices, participants developed the skills and strategies needed to navigate the next stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
This year’s cohorts showcased the breadth of innovation emerging across Saskatchewan. Founders are tackling challenges in healthcare accessibility, municipal funding, artificial intelligence, legal technology, newcomer services, transportation, agriculture, and digital identity, highlighting the diverse ways entrepreneurship is driving meaningful impact within our communities.
As START Cohort 15 and BUILD Cohort 3 conclude, Cultivator powered by Conexus looks forward to continuing to support these founders as they grow their businesses, create economic opportunities, and bring innovative solutions to market. We congratulate every participant on their dedication throughout the program and are excited to see what they accomplish next.
As we celebrate the completion of START Cohort 15 and BUILD Cohort 3, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the guest speakers, mentors, partners, and volunteers who generously shared their time, expertise, and encouragement throughout the programs. Your support plays a vital role in empowering Saskatchewan entrepreneurs, and without your contributions, the progress these founders make would not be possible.
