From March to June each year, the selected cohort companies go through intensive programming, connect with expert mentors, investors, industry leaders and producers, and at the end of three months, founders will pitch their company at Demo Day on the Launch Pad Stage at Canada’s Farm Show, in Regina, SK.

Through a global partnership with Innovate UK, the UK’s national innovation agency, 4 UK-based agtech companies will join cohort 3 as part of the Innovate UK Global Incubator Programme to further accelerate the cultivation of agtech innovation on a global scale. This partnership has proved to foster new perspectives and innovation to the AGTECH ACCELERATOR cohort, further establishing Saskatchewan as a global agtech hub.

“The Innovate UK Global Incubator Programme – AgTech, supports startups as they spend time in world-leading incubators outside the UK.  Our partnership with Cultivator provides an ideal destination for UK AgTech companies looking to innovate, build partnerships and grow in Canada.” said Jon Hazell, Partnership Manager – North America and Global Incubator at Innovate UK.

Since its launch in 2021, the AGTECH ACCELERATOR has garnered impressive success and growth. To date, 32 cohort 1 and cohort 2 companies have collectively raised $107.7 million in private capital, generated $47 million in revenue and received $32.7 million in public funding.
