Saskatchewan is home to vibrant startup culture and a robust ecosystem of world-leading agriculture and food companies. There is no better time than now, and no better place than Saskatchewan to lead the growth of agtech in Canada and beyond.
The AGTECH ACCELERATOR brings agriculture and technology together to accelerate the growth of Canadian agtech startups built to solve global problems. Built with founders and farmers as the foundation, the program is designed to help startups achieve product-market fit, build lasting industry relationships, and scale with purpose.
The AGTECH ACCELERATOR is a 3-month, high-impact program designed to help founders reach product-market fit and create a clear, actionable plan to scale their company.
Founders selected to be a part of the AGTECH ACCELERATOR’s yearly cohort will take part in a three-month hybrid (in-person and virtual) accelerator.. The program is banked by 2 weeks of in-person sessions, weekly 1:1 mentorship, 2-3 virtual group sessions, expert-led programming, and curated industry and investor connections – all designed to help Canadian and UK agtech startups scale their business.
To date, Cultivator has supported 62 companies over 4 cohorts, who have achieved collective success and milestones including:

As with many other industries, technology is driving global agriculture forward. The future relies on collaboration, innovation, and the ability to leverage our strengths and become leaders who drive a sustainable future here at home, across the country, and worldwide. Saskatchewan is the driving force behind agtech innovation and expansion across Canada and beyond:
The AGTECH ACCELERATOR will host one cohort each year from April to July — ensuring optimal time for program recruitment, company growth and investment.
Cohort 5 Outline:
Our cohorts follow a hybrid program model with in-person and virtual components. This includes two weeks where founders have the opportunity to be boots on the ground from the Cultivator HQ in April and on-site at the largest outdoor farm expo in Western Canada, Ag in Motion, in July.
Cultivator has the advantage of operating in a hyper-connected ecosystem like Saskatchewan with the opportunity to leverage key contacts and resources across Saskatchewan and the ability to deliver programming to founders across Canada.
