Prairie Robotics, founded by Sam Dietrich + Stevan Mikah, is on a mission to accelerate the world toward a circular economy. The company works with municipalities to reduce contamination in their diversion streams and increase the quality of good materials. By doing so, Prairie Robotics is helping to divert waste from landfills and reduce the negative impact on the environment. Prairie Robotics’ first commercial client was the City of Regina and they’ve since expanded extensively across Western Canada, Ontario and into the United States. Their client base has also expanded selling to municipalities of all sizes and independent haulers such as Waste Connections & GFL.

We are working with municipalities from the west coast to the east coast to reduce contamination in their diversion streams and increase the quality of good materials. We’ve had some significant success that’s due to a number of motivated partners with different waste haulers and municipalities to really come together and engage residents on what goes where. We are extremely excited to look towards the future to continue this momentum.”
