STEP newest in-residence partner

We’re proud to announce our new partnership with Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP) for our Market Expansion in-residence partner. STEP is a membership-based trade promotion agency that offers a full suite of export programs and services to businesses in partnership with the Government of Saskatchewan. CEO Chris Dekker notes that, with a small domestic market, innovative startup companies need to connect with international markets.

“STEP is honored to play a key delivery role as the Market Expansion Partner knowing that this strong and diversified sector has the tools, resources and ability to launch, grow, and mentor the province’s growing and successful tech sector”, Dekker said.

“We’re excited to bring STEP onto the team as our newest in-residence partner,” says Bre Walkeden, Community and Partnerships Manager, Cultivator. “The knowledge and advice STEP will provide to our founders will be a huge value add and play an instrumental role as our startups look to scale globally. We have seen many of our founders successfully make a shift to new markets, so this partnership with STEP was a natural next step in ensuring all companies have access to tap into international markets.”
